Community Meet & Greet – Thank You for Your Feedback
Briercliffe Parish Council would like to thank everyone who attended our recent Community Meet & Greet.
The event was an opportunity for residents to meet Parish Councillors, talk about the things that matter to them and contribute ideas about the future of Briercliffe.
We were delighted to welcome around 30–40 residents, with lots of positive conversations and valuable feedback throughout the evening.
What did residents talk about?
Residents were encouraged to share their views on a range of subjects, including:
? What makes Briercliffe special?
What residents value about our community and what makes it a great place to live.
? What should never be lost?
The places, facilities, environment and community features residents want to protect.
? Ideas for the future
Suggestions about how Briercliffe could be improved and developed.
?️ Parish priorities
Residents were able to identify the issues and opportunities they feel are most important.
? Children's voice
Young people were encouraged to share their own ideas about Briercliffe.
? Cleaner and greener Briercliffe
Including views around street cleaning, dog fouling, back-street litter and weeds.
? Woodland Walk, recreation and the pump track
Residents were able to share thoughts about local recreation and green spaces.

The event was supported by Parish Councillors and the Parish Clerk, and we would like to thank everyone who gave their time to attend and contribute.
The atmosphere throughout the evening was extremely positive, and the Parish Council received lots of constructive feedback and ideas that will be valuable as we consider future priorities and community projects.
And we cannot finish without a special thank you to Emma for the amazing banoffee pie! ?
