Woodland Walk & Watercourse Update
Lancashire County Council’s Public Rights of Way (PROW) team has confirmed that its contractor has completed the work to install the ditch crossing over the stream and that the affected section of the public footpath has reopened.
The Parish Council has also been liaising with the Environment Agency regarding concerns previously raised about the watercourse.
The Parish Council will continue to monitor the watercourse and remain in contact with the relevant agencies.
Thank you to everyone who has raised concerns, provided information and helped the Parish Council monitor the situation.
